I received a Christmas card from my best friend - Eunice today - Christmas eve!
I have had such a stressful time since I came back to Saigon last Tuesday because I'm studying up for my scholarship exam. I'm going to try and ace that Geography scholarship. I really need to. So, I'm gonna try my very best to get it. I'm also taking one for Art but I have less to worry about that than this.

Anyway, lately I haven't had time to blog partly because my laptop charger broke and I constantly have to shed time to do hw first before using it for any other purposes. Here is a review of my week!

Last week, I was going to work with my mum everyday to observe her work (well she let me come and help with the shop she is opening) I was actually learning quite a bit just listening, helping write email in english etc. So I went to Vincom with mum for work and I met Nicole! Omg It was the best thing that has happened to me all week. I had lost a lot of numbers so I couldn't really contact anyone and I thought most of friends would have left by now either temporary or really really left. Meeting with Nicole gave me an uninvited little farewell party that they all made up for Ali. I finally convinced Joshy to come and see me too and that made my day!

We had fun scaring Ali and had 2 sessions of bumper car, and then i gained myself another invitation to Ali's bday party :D Met Vy there. She seemed as awkward as I was which makes me quite comfortable actually xDDD hahaha I did managed to make new friends since most of my friends are now gone to some other places already. We went out later that night. I had quite a blast! :D

This week, I was determined to meet Harith and go to Ala Mezon because there is a live jazz performance thing i found on the internet. So we met in Fahasa to buy drawing pencils before heading off. I didn't know this was my opportunity to make friend with Lam Anh (she lives near my house too :D) lol we then invited Jimmy. Yup got on a taxi, gave the address, driver dropped us off at a random place behind Ben Thanh's market and told us to walk there bc it's only a few minutes away and he can't get in. We got off but realised that he must have mistaken it for another str so we got on another taxi and went back to Le Loi str to find a mass of ppl killing each other to take Christmas pictures. We had to get off the taxi and follow the driver instruction to walk to Ala Mezon.

What a crazy night right? I got scared to death by this fake awesome superman. Why on earth would anyone do that? leave a superman at a table, on a floor, by himself!?!
The music after all was quite enjoyable. I had a great time with Harith, Jimmy and Lam Anh.

Despite the quiet and loneliness of having almost all of my friends all over the world somewhere, I am having a nice time back home in Saigon.

Brick Lane

This is Brick Lane people! Full of street arts and vintage clothing. I do literally mean a lot of awesome street arts. They are everywhere and that is why it attracts so many Londoners here.

Everyone has a camera in their hands, ready to snap!

Everything here is so interesting. I bought some vintage clothes myself, found the loveliest blouse! It is just one of those things you just cannot resist buying. God the agony, the temptation of shopping!

I am on half term holiday and decided to crash into Truc's place for a few days to sort out some Art research in London before I head off to Coventry on Tuesday. I met some of Truc's new friends and they are fanatic! We had Thai food at a reasonable price after shopping. My Pad Thai and Tofu is hmmm delicious!!!

I met some intriguing people as well. A guy asking us if we want to do a shoot for vodafone and the man who simple asked "D' you wanna take a picture of me and I'll take a picture of you?"

British Museum

So Aigul had these tickets to the "Treasure of Heavens" at the British Museum and we all decided we should go before it expired. "Us" include Yen, Aigul, Me and Tiffany and Many (who was taking the photo)

In one word, the museum is HUGE and incredibly crowded! It seems that all tourists want to end up in here.

There is an ongoing art project right at the entrance of the museum. The purpose is cooperate all separate drawings together to form a big big artwork. It looks cool!

Only Aigul and I went inside the private exhibition. It was all about catholics and its history in England through the display of many delicate and well-crafted gold work in churches.

Afterwards, we came through a shop where I bought some postcards and played around with a few stuff at the museum shops. They hung up the decoration sculptures for haloween already.

Next, head over to Oxford street to SHOP!

I found this incredible artshop that I had to stop myself from wanting to go in.

Walton on the Naze

Last last week, we went out for a Geography field trip. This was one of the best trip I have had. I really like doing practical work because words and numbers and siting in class is so not my talent. May be this is one of the area I would like to head in. I learnt to use a clinometer and a ranging pole and carried out experiment with quadrats. We were looking to see if this cliff/coastline protection scheme is working. One side has seawalls and groynes installed to the beach to reduce the process of Longshore Drift and the other side has nothing but Managed Retreat. I had to take lots of photos and do field sketches.

I look really lol in those clothes xDD 'cause they keep me warm! and the backpack is very practical. I can hang equipments there.

There is a historical tower of Walton here that the local are trying to protect. Inside they have a small cafe at the bottom selling delicious sandwiches and beautiful hand-painted postcards. Upstairs is some sitting places for the cafe, an art exhibition space and the Tower history at the top.

Now we are writing coursework for this. It is a little bit more confusing that anyone would think.

On Saturday, it was Mill Hill's Foundation day so we had a lion in (just learn that :D) and enjoy some delicious lunch. After that we went out to London Dungeon for the first time in order to celebrate Sonya's birthday!

Here are some of the exhibition that are on displayed at Saatchi Gallery at the moment.

The gallery is a beautiful building, located near Victoria Station and surrounded by a lovely park. It held around 20 different smaller galleries inside. The type of artworks ranges from paintings to sculpture and lighting. I strongly recommend visiting the top few galleries upstair which are showing Prudential's sponsored artworks from Philippines. These are astonishingly beautiful and many have deep meaning in them.

Starting school and already I feel so tired!
I have decided to join the swim training on Monday and Wednesday (to learn front crawl again) which I enjoy most of the time. Then there is jazz piano that should be finalise anyday now. Art activities on Tuesday... Gosh! So many things to do!

I came to Art horrified because I had no idea what I want to do for my new project, apart from the few artists and some ideas I jot down on the plane. My teacher had no idea how to help me either. Finally, I found Fred Kennet - a pen and ink based artist who produce exceptional detailed drawings. I want to do something similar to that. I want to depict the modern world today as being too industrialised and polluted with cities filled with skyscrapers and car honking on the busy road.

I thought it would be amazing but right now, with the load of work I am doing every night. I just find no inspiration to do anything. I am drawing buildings from photograph I have taken around Central London but it is so hard to sketch them out. I just don't know how artists can do this, sketching amazing buildings on a piece of paper. I am helpless. Oh I need help!

Despite all these works are depressing me, I did went to see an amazing musical "Billy Elliot" at the Victoria Palace Theatre last week. It was part of our Drama course - to write a theatre review. The musical was fantastic it its set, lighting with the most talented young actor and the most moving plot. It was a magical night for me because this was the first proper musical I have seen. On Saturday, Mandy, Sharon and I went to the Saatchi Gallery where we found some amazing students sketching what they see in gallery. There were many artworks that were simply astonishing and some were at the average in my opinion.

This thursday, I am going to head down to Walton on the Naze in Essex for my Geography investigation. That should be fun!

This dish was deliciously served with some homemade hot pachattis bread.

I tried to get a cat down from a high wall and failed. I'm sured that it was the old cat I cared for when I rescued it as a new-born kitten a few years back.

I had a great time with the old gang today. They are all growing up so fast haha. Watched Long Ruoi and Friends with Benefits!

With the intention of buying cupcakes in mind, Giao and I went to a little shop called Shin on Nguyen Trai. Ate a red bean ice-cream wohooo!!!

Though I did made a big mistake of shopping on the holiday! Got myself some food to stack up in my suitcase. London likes to burn my pocket!

Jumping Frogs in the Rain

It's been raining hard outside. Well, just harder tonight - must be one of those nights eh?
Nothing much lately for me. Although I have been trying to think of new ideas for my next art project. I just wish that anything would pop into my silly head. Eunice is now in Singapore and starting a new wonderful life that I hope to know more about soon. She would know how to help me - not intentionally anyway but she would definitely somehow inspires me.

The summer is passing by very quickly - especially when you take up traveling! I came back into the loving arm of my family at the begining of July; signed up for SAT classes, practice drums, piano and even took up the guitar. Gotta say, self-learning really make you go crazy but I can play a few songs now. I bought a new brown woody looking guitar and a small little uklele. It is time to hit Youtube for some lessons! I traveled with my family to Quang Binh for the second time and I am again fascinated by the rich history, culture and nature of this place. Shortly after that, I head off to Laos to embark upon an insightful experience with Laotians.

Honestly, most days I would spent trying to keep in touch with all the great people I know that has left Saigon to pursue new life. I laid awake at night watching TV series, writing emails and sometimes artsy creation and then sleep to shorten the day. I thought of my friends with their new lives. I miss them, but then again do I appear like some kind of needy person now? Must creeps them out! (sending loads of post mails)

Perhaps, the summer is rather, for a student, a time to reflect, relax and rethink. For example, I set out goals to do some study before I get back to the new school year but I have rarely done much and still have no intention of starting; or the fact that I have became even more philosophical than before with all the weird and boring theories about the human brain; or I actually tried to imagine myself over and over doing different actions for an embarrassing incident during the year. Lol very rich of me!

May be I should read more books. I did read about five books or so and if you count children's books tooo... lol... Nevermind, I'm just gonna head off and learn some more uklele!

Sabaidee Lao!

I have been wanting to visit Laos for a long time and last week, I made a trip there myself.

Laos - aka the Kingdom of Million Elephants - is a gorgeous, graceful and ravishing country. Though less developed than Vietnam, it and its people show the caring open heart of buddhists. On the first day, we drove through Lao Bao Int. Border Gate from Hue, VN to the Central of Laos on Route 9 to Savannakhet city. We stayed at hotel that laid on one side of the Mekong Delta with the view of Udonthani of Thailand on the otherside. I was lucky to see fireworks while riding a bike along the river that night because it was the Queen of Thailand's birthday.

The next day we started off early to visit That In Hang - the beautiful temple that was known as the Land of Buddism in Indochina. I entered the Wat wearing a sarong, praying and taking pictures. Inside the open house, the old monk sat with a bowl of threaded bracelet in front. He ties the bracelet on our wrist to give luck. If you wish, rubbing the big until it make sound is also good.

We walked out of the temple and enjoyed "Cơm Lam" from an old lady (sticky rice cooked in Bamboo). The rest of the day were spent on the bus heading towards the capital city Vientiane and stopped at Patuxay - the symbol of Laos. At night, we sat to eat some traditional Laos' food while watching the Lamvong dance. My sister and I got out afterwards to explore the city at night. We walked around the night market, bought some paintings and a few other handicrafts (ate a parata too!). Many Laotian we have met knew Vietnamese and were very good at it that it suprised me! There is one girl who is studying her fourth year at Hanoi University. Oh my! Her Vietnamese was excellent! I really do admire people who can speak my language!

On day 3, we visited Phat That Luong - the symbol of Laos, Patuxai, Si Muong Wat, Sisaket Museum and the Buddha park. After a nice lunch with the view of the Mekong River we crossed over the Friendship bridge to Nongkhai of Thailand. On the way to Udonthani city, we got down to see the Salakeokhu Buddha park. It was a magnificent land of around fifties buddha statues. We arrived later that night. I went out for a city tour with our Laotian guide and enjoyed good fruits.

The last day of the trip was spent driving back to Savan Vegas Hotel (casino eh!?) where I had my first Thai Massage. Man! It was so damn good! I fell asleep because I was so relaxed thanks to the lovely Laotian masseuse. Early next morning, we headed back to Vietnam and had a delicious dinner in Hue city. I bought a pocket frame made from recycled materials by a group of deaf young people. They were very skilled, creative and warm-hearted. I felt good supporting their cause before flying back to HCM city and finally, ended the awesome trip.

I have learnt so much about Laotian's culture, its beautiful sites and heart-warming people. It is a very religious country. For Laotian, their lives basically interact and devote to Buddhism (also known as the "small wheel" buddhism because unlike the "big wheel" in China and Vietnam where buddha is welcome for everyone; the "small wheel" is only for those who believe in buddhism and follow the rules of the Buddha house). Definitely wanting to explore more of Laos!

We have became the expert on this and of course, my sis is amazing at her fried sushi and sweet egg.

I also cook my expertise on mushroom with oyster sauce and rolled some sushi and decorated those dishes.

Here you can find tons of Artsy and handmade things for sell, along with many unique stores on the backstreet. Every year, Universities around London held an exhibition for all graduated and degree students - FreeRange. You can find the best of street snacking here with a variety of cuisine from Mediterranean to Jamaican.

It is definitely worth millions of trips down town!

Adventure is Calling!

I decided that it was time I get out there and explore London a little more! (and Sharon needed to take primary sources of buildings for her art project)
Fascinating!

I woke up quite early and arrived 45 minutes earlier than the time Sharon and I were going to meet. So, I walked around, go through the street from London Bridge station and saw beautiful view of the bridge when there weren't many tourist. I let the wind blow on my hair and took some fantastic picture with my iPhone. They really take care of the river here - with the clean up boat going around at 9.30 in the morning.

I walked down further along side of the bridge and met a man whose job was to keep the grey stone tiles under my feet neat and clean. He has worked and lived in London for 9 years and enjoyed the view of the river very much.

Sharon and I met up and we reached Southbank. We got lost walking around as tourists with a camera and hand-drawn map which did not help much. Though we did get a free book...

A little extract from the big poster at BFI (that's my dream!)

I had no idea what Southbank Centre was until I saw it. It was a theatre, an art gallery and the BFI - British Film Institute. That colourful stair right there pump water up to the Southbank centre! And of course, the exterior of the three buildings were decorated with several projects. Awesome stuff inside and we bought postcards in agony of stopping ourselves buying more!

Hungry stomaches, rumbling so we tried to look for good but cheap food at Waterloo station. McDonald it is... To be honest, I was not looking forward to this because I dislike McDonald. But wait, we found a very "Captain Jack" store with yummy looking pastry. Jaw dropped and I went straight into buy my very first West Cornwall Pastry's mushroom cornish pasty. I indulged myself with every crispy bite of it.

Moortage was our next stop. Hmm... sound exciting eh? It was good for Sharon's primary sources for her art project but, the place was creepy! You know that urban image of the world with people walking around only going to work. Well that is it! Hundreds of workers going in and out wearing suits, getting lunch, on the phone... walking in small streets of many many tall buildings!

Our last stop of the day was Canary Wharf. Interesting buildings and very quiet life. It is almost like a private district where you live in a luxury apartment with stunning views and have your life being easily taken care off. To us it was more like a maze because we got lost inside this huge area, walking endlessly and cannot find a way out.

We did, eventually and to conclude our adventurous day out in London, it was an AWESOME! Although, unfortunate things happened such as I nearly died twice thanks to Sharon stopping in the middle of traffic to take pictures or losing oyster card or one person got on the train while the other stand back and wait for the next... Oh the Adventure! xD

Drawing the Future

We all have a little dream of what we want to become; a doctor, an artist, a director, a happy married man, a beautiful bride, a marine biologist, a delicious chef...

We all dream and draw out the most perfect image of the future, yet knowing that the dream may not be true.

But, what does it bring? The dream is a rough draft, a sign of hope, and a small guide line of your own future. Surely, your childhood dream and the real you of twenty years after is different or at least for most of us, the dream changed to suit our life. That doesn't mean that you have failed yourself.

The world is not perfect. You are not perfect. I am not perfect. We all have our own flaw, but trying hard to get where you are in the future and setting a high expectation upon yourself is how way to success. The road to there is never easy. In fact, it is incredibly tough and at every step of the way, there is a sharp knife waiting to kill it - your dream.

I am nobody to talk about the dream and determination and setting high expectation. I have no idea how to succeed your dream. But, one thing I do know is that the imperfection makes each of us perfect, because without this imperfection, there is no point of improving, no point of setting goals and no point of trying hard.

Whether it is you make it to the end or not, make sure you try hard enough, dream high enough and don't stop.

Happy Birthday to a Sixteenth Years Old!

I had a two-days fantabulous birthday!

First day was pre-birthday/special day with Eunice! And so I went into town at 10 am, waited in Paris Deli. I ordered a mint frap and just like old time, I sat and draw. It was nice, really nice to be doing something that inspiring again.

Eunice arrived and we had such a long talk about everything we've been missing out on each other. God! So many things had happened! I miss being here with her mucho mucho!

YESH! We went to a Jap restaurant and has a super duper cool lunch!

Guess what we made when we got back to my house? Oooh! Japanese dinner! So there were maki sushi, chicken and mushroom teriyaki, inarizushi (tofu pouch and mushroom), omu rice, chawamushi and miso soup. Me, my sister and Eunice were the headchefs and we were AWESOME. My family loved it!

Longer talk needed that night and we went on talking until we really needed to watch "How I met your mother". Wait! Let's not forget the AWESOME GREENTEA ICECREAM WITH RED BEANS INSIDE!

Did not wake 'till 10 and we had an awesome breakfast - Banh trang cuon thit heo (Dry pancake roll with pork) and for me, there was an extra ice cream :D

Anyway, then we went into town and met My Linh at MOF!

I went back with my mum and the entire family including my uncle and aunty. We had a wonderful evening at Movenpick hotel - Iki restaurant. That cake up there was a beautifully shell-shaped tiramisu and maccaroon that my mum and sis bought for me. And I am telling you the dinner was amazing!

There, you are stuck inside your own question. We all think we know who we are but we really don't. We are on the pathway to find our origin, ourselves and our purpose, avoiding losing ourselves somewhere along the way.

Life is harsh on us for a reason, just like your mother was harsh on you to teach you right and wrong. Don't let it suppresses you, step up and take the chances.

Finding the Lights

You know that feeling when you watch a really good movie and wonder whether your life will ever turn out that way?

It's always those really good movies that makes you think of who you are, who you've became and who you are going to be. I am still on the mission of finding who I am. I am still someone who is looking for myself. I don't know who I am going to be. I don't know if I should try the thing I want to try. I don't know what the future hold for me. But then again, I am always moving forward. No wonder most of us think of the future, plan ahead and follow plans. It is true that your plan can change and be altered when you truly find who you are. One decision can change everything.

We complain too much about our lives, going on about bad things that happened but do we really appreciate what life has given us? Bad things happen - C'est la vie! But don't forget, good things happen too! If we can all learn to love ourselves and appreciate the small things we do everyday. Life would be so much more fascinating, exciting and wonderful.

It is scary to not know what to do but you've got to try and put yourself out there. Easier said than done, yes but do TRY!

The patterns are meant to be a looking hole to the girl. She is lost and can't seem to find her way out. There is no escape. The white space is the reason she can't find her way because there is nothing where she is looking.

My best friend is the most amazing person I've ever met. I love her so much and I'm so proud of everything she does. Robo Octi is one of her genius creation. Unfortunately, at the moment, publishing of this comic series is not available but I can tell you, you'll just roll on the ground and laugh your shoes off.

I've just received photos from "The Reminders" project and I'm up in sky of happiness to see how wonderful and how big it has grown on this part of Out2Studio. I left Eunice, as this is a collaborated project, before I left with a bunch of post-its I've done over the summer. We're hoping to fill up this space soon enough!

I haven't had time to blog for so long and I feel guilty about it. I made a promise to Eunice I would so now I'm writing about the past two months moving to London.

London is a good place when I start to settle down a little more.

On the first two months living here, there were up and down. I've made new friends and I've managed to catch up with school work. Fortunately, I have my own room here and it's quite a big room as well.

There are so much work to do, so much classes to attend. I've had my timetable changed three times. I'm continuing drums and participated in the inter-house music competition. Collinson won the classical ensemble where I played the tambourine and the audience's choice award where I played the piano to the mass singing - We're the kids in America. That's the highlight of my first term.

Life isn't perfect! I had a fight with someone for the first time in my entire life, cried for weeks because I miss Saigon and tried so hard to find free time in my timetable. I found more about what an actual high school would be like and how immature people can be. Given the fact that they're all younger than me, I wouldn't be surprise they are.

Yes! I'm enjoying art classes here. It's the only thing that I've actually look forward to all week. Although, there are lots of work to do and I've had to skip lunch to finish my h/w so that I have more time to do art. Drama classes are getting better too.

At the moment, I'm staying at a host family because it's term break. Sure to be going out and around London soon enough.

Miss you all in Saigon! London is good but it's not as great as Saigon!

The people here are okay and will never be as awesome as you guys!

Farewell

Thurday was my farewell dinner. Tandoor served us superb dishes that still leave me drooling. It was a marvelous night and I get to spend it with all my dearest friends. There were laughters, hugs, kisses, teddy bears and cute drawings. I felt so grateful to know all these wonderful people. Later, we went over to Mojo where there was firework - Independence day!

There is more! Eunice had a sleepover at my house and we ate so much I thought we would never be able to breath again. Tea, shrimp rice crackers, cheetos, gummy and G-FORCE! The rest of that night and the next day we will kept to ourselves. Although, Paris Deli with Bobby and MLinh was something I must mention because awesome art was produced, left us feeling sick to our stomach for some reason.

It didn't struck me until the farewell dinner where I was a bit overwhelmed. Megan is really leaving. I left a few tears hanging that night and told myself - save it for saturday - because that's when she will be on the plane to Spain.

I've sewn together a book with all Megan's beautiful underwater photos a while ago. Last night, I can't stop staring at it and I thought to myself - if I'm just going to sit here and be upset, what good will it do? So I finally got my hand started on making a cover for it with whatever I have around. It's not the world perfect book but I'm happy that all my feelings are packed with it. I didn't cry and I'm so glad to see Megan's off to somewhere exciting with someone wonderful.

I had quite a fun day with Eunice, MLinh and Bobby. I came to school on early on saturday morning. They have started to work on a performance for the Moon Festival. I felt at ease watching. Later, the principal arrived with Apsara and Binky - the dog. I had to hold Binky for a while since he was so excited. Binky is an attention-seeker and he successfully distracted everyone from practicing. I picked up Sally's camera. It was good to start taking photos again so I took heaps of everyone until the point that they couldn't be bothered to hide their faces anymore.

Parkson was our next destination for a nice, cheap Japanese lunch. A friend of Bobby invited us to Casbah - a middle-eastern looking cafe hidden in an alley. I've heard of the place but never been there. For a while we sat, talk and laugh. Eventually Bobby and his friend had to go and we headed to Vincom. The decision was to reach Kito Cafe and sleep but we ended up talking up strange ideas. Uraitei seems to be a good place for us to enjoy a deliciously cracking dinner despite the hard rain.

And there were some life-time embarrassment that I can't tell. Dinner was great though and the photo above is a proof of how happy we were!

I've been waiting on my feet all this summer just for something to happen.

Anxious.

So far there a few things are moving along with my visa application. I have submitted it and have my photo and finger prints taken after 10 times, back and forth at two different embassies. Sitting around make me anxious. I have also applied to UCA hoping to get a place. It's incredibly difficult to stay calm on my bare feet. I don't know where I'm moving toward. Is my life really taking a new leaf or am I just here stuck with no direction and purpose?

My life is on the hang meanwhile people are moving along with their lives. My friends are going to school, my sister is applying for university and even my baby cousin has started talking all day, walking and smiling a lot. I'm still right here where I've seated for the past 2 and a half months.

I watched series and movies of a year worth because I thought I won't have time anyway to during the year. I drew and design little things. I hangout with friends, go shopping, sent out my UCA application and constantly running to get visa documents done as required. Once all of that ran out, I read books and I mean a high pile of books. Now I have nothing to do and no desire to. I need to be inspire by life and I need something exciting to happen.

Finally broke down for a moment and that was such a relieve. I can feel most of the weight is gone. I'm still one step away from finally getting rid of this anxious feeling.

May be good things happen to good people. At the moment that's all I can dare look into.

Like other people who collect stamps, I collect postcards! When you receive a postcard, you know that it have been everywhere. There are lines and scratches and the corners are torn. Voila! You have something vintage. It's amazing!

Downside of Summer

Surprisingly the reason I haven't been creative much is because of the summer!

I have managed though to play piano, practice drums, learn french/italian/spainish/chinese (seriously not as good as it sounds, read books, visa application, mostly just watch movies endlessly and this.

As always I started my drawing with strange lines and develop it into something with meanings. I was blue when I drew this. Death while the rest of the world is sound asleep.

Right now I appreciate school so much. Speaking of which, I've been wondering why I need to stick to high school when I'm not even good at it - academically. I accomplished to get good grades for most subjects but it's not inspiring, not stimulating and not exciting. As I was scrolling through -University of Creative Arts happens to offer Pre-degree courses for 16+.

You can get into a National Diploma or Certificate course - which get you to focus on Arts in general while still do your A level.

Superfluous - I read this in a novel and Megan happened to remind me of it yesterday. It's exactly what I feel today. Superfluous of unnecessary crap that people are putting on me.

I went to Shri - this restaurant on the rooftop of Centec Tower and I must say I've never seen anything quite like it. It's a beautiful setting, nice design and great view! The food was good too but being there was just mind blowing.

I went to the cinema twice and watched Knight and Day. It's such a delicious movie. It's so cute, so hilarious and so romantic! It's a must watch for 2010 I guess.

Meg and Aka is off to Spain. Sally is in Italy and my mum is also arriving at Milano next week. This two places are dreams for me. I know I said I love to travel and live around the world but Spain and Italy are just gorgeous places to be in. Please please I beg you send me postcards!!!

Fruity Hangout

I've been out almost everyday since summer started.

But I'm not doing anything BAD and summer seems exciting!

I've been drawing, painting, making cards, talking, chatting, laughing, roaming around Dong Khoi, Vincom, bumper car, reading books, Paris Deli, JUICE, Artbook, farewell, stay overnight at Eunice's, more HOUSE + TRUEBLOOD and more BLOGGING!

Arrived at Gloria Jeans at 10.30 and I sat there laughing with Eunice the Pear and Aries the Orange. I'm Emo Apple Ada who started the new trend for sunnies – The Bug Style!

Harith the Banana came late. Everyone was hungry so we dragged ourselves right over to Vincom. It took us a few minutes to decide we should head to MOF. Hmm yummy lunch! I had Yaki Meshi!

Paid the bill and we moved over to Kito since all of us are still hungry. A bloody 25k Ice-cream scope did not full fill my stomach. Next, Game Game Game time for the boys!

We came back while Eunice was still sitting with her Mac as a cover admiring a guy with incredibly cool clothing including a gold locket! Even I froze looking at him!

Harith and I together head to ArtBook on Dong Khoi. For the first time, I actually went upstair to see the exhibition. Good paintings! Harith caught his bus home while I stayed in ArtBook waiting for Meg to call.

And she did! I walked down to Juice and we had a nice dinner there before going back to school picking up Megan things. Her loads of books crowded the taxi but we could still sit comfortably. I picked up two photos from my Exhibition. I took most of the pictures in this exhibition in the foya at school and edited them all. I'm pretty much happy of the results. They are quite beautiful!

Megan's house - full of awesome and cool stuff. I came here to help her pack and throw stuff away but come to think of it, I didn't help much except the part where I took pencils, a bunch of cards and a paper cutting table and books too. Oooh! The cat is cute and didn't hate me at all. Very welcoming :)

Waking Up at Paris Deli

No not literally and I woke up at 7 on Monday morning and I was not at Paris Deli until 10.30.

Hmm... Eunice was there.

We practically LIVE in PD. The waiter asks "upstair?" everytime we come.

PD is undergoing instruction at the moment so it smells real bad and the quietness of the place is constantly disrupted by... well ... constructing.

Spent time Macbooking-chatting-laughing until we couldn't bare how crazy we are so we PAINT!

Yes yes!!! The point of going to PD is to PAINT (mostly!)

Eunice told me last night to meet her at Saigon Centre, 2.30 because she wants to hang out. I arrived in a hurry and Eunice pulled me straight to MOF saying she was hungry and I WAS BALLING MY EYES OUT SEEING A GROUP OF AMAZING FRIENDS SURPRISE ME WITH A BOX OF HILARIOUS GIFTS, A WARM-HEARTED CARDS FULL OF MESSAGES AND A BEAUTIFUL PAINTING. Today is the first surprise party of my 15 years living. I feel so lucky to have such a beautiful and wonderful group of friends.

We then enjoyed a delicious meal at MOF filled with laughter. This box of gift include an awesome pirate pen, a parrot-looking-wig, gorgeous pair of earings, oil colour set and some scrapbook flowers!!! AWESOME! GUESS WHO RAN DOWN THE STREET WITH THAT CRAZY PARROT WIG WAVING TO PEOPLE? ME ME ME!!! (I dragged Josh along as well, showing the clip soon!)

This is probably the craziest thing I've ever done in my life!

Three times!!! I personally think everyone walked out with injuries all over their body! But it was great fun and we play table hockey next!!! Disc flying all over the place!!!

We ate ice-cream at BUD's afterwards where Ali broke a glass and paid 10k. I left with Josh, Nicole going to Ali's house. I made a pair of earrings! Thanks to Ali and we said farewell to Marsterton and his two cute boys. After that, we talked more and more until I had to go.

My experience of the Art and Awards Evening was wonderful as I love helping and supporting you all backstage. I know I pretty much joined at the last minutes but I felt honoured to be there, moving stuff, organising little things and taking care of you great performers. It's really what I love to do. Thank you so much for acknowledging me with claps and smile and hugs and kisses.

Today, officially mark my teary departure from the AIS family. In my previous posts, I've mentioned that I'm moving to a new school in London with bigger opportunities but it has been 4 amazing years at AIS, where I found who I am, with great memories with my wonderful friends and friendly teachers. Some of you I've known for a very long time and It's terribly sad for me knowing that I might not see some of my great friends anymore as you guys move on with your families to new places but we'll keep in touch, won't we? After all, what's the point of having FACEBOOK and EMAIL for right?

I'm sorry if I didn't sign your yearbook or if you didn't get to sign mine. I'm sorry if we didn't take photos. It was a very crowded and busy place for many of those who are leaving. It's exactly 3 days left until I'm officially leaving little old AIS !
It's been 4 years with memories and changes.
It has been a happy-sad-exciting-boring-stress-hilarious-wonderful-and-horrible part of my teenage life.
I'm going to miss it! Miss my Eunice and everything we do together (I know you hate me but I still love you baby), miss my teachers (even the one I'm not very fond of), miss the little vintage-french-old looking school and miss my VIETNAM life so much.

Let's do this depressing thing in a few more days and in about 2 more months!

Pescetarian

Incase you don't know what Pescetarian is, it's a word!

Don't worry. Most pescetarian don't even know that they are one

Pescetarian is a person who eats no RED meats (excluding land animals) but includes fish and seafood. Their diet include veggie, nuts, fruits etc. with or without the addition of Eggs and Dairy.

I've given thought on becoming a vegan.

I love veggies and I could totally survive on fruits and nuts.

But seriously I love japanese food.

Well, japanese food are mostly fish dishes.

I can't give up on that.

I believe that fish are animals (scientifically they are!) and think they can feel too.

So if I say I am a vegan, I'd be insulting the actual vegan.

I don't want to announce that I'm one when I'm not.

How I got to this subject is because I'm an Eco-Friendly freak (not that freaky!)

Once I found out that farm animals actually contribute to destroying rainforest and contributing to pollution.

I started learning more and more.

It did give me creeps seeing those farm animals factory but it didn't really alter me much on changing my mind to become vegan.

I do have feelings for animals! I'm against cosmetic testing on animals.

I love eating and what's better than finding a healthier diet with all the things I like and I can eat almost all the time.

Plus, veggie are so much easier to cook muahahha xD

My point is next time when someone tell you that they are a pescetarian. Respect their choices! Whatever it is you are going to do with your life should not be judged. I'm still not going to announce that I'm a pescetarian or vegetarian yet (just if I must put chicken in my mouth I'm not receiving hate mails =.= plus I might need brain food) But know that I do avoid eating pork, beef and chicken for ECO reasons.

Somewhat sounds ridiculous to me because I love fishes and the ocean. My blog is all about that and I'm eating them!

Eunice and I have been recording and taking photographs for the International HCM Choir - Music for a Summer's Evening on the 4-5 June at the Conservatory of Music. Later, we came back to school, laughing and going insane at our hiding corner while everyone else were enjoying their after party.

Hola ladies and gentlemen,

I'm so sorry I don't have much to give out to my wonderful blog stalkers except the warmly hello and thank you from these two strange sea creatures.

Saigon Pearl celebrates its International Children's Day. I had to go with mum because it's her work, but I did enjoy a delightful painting session by myself under the hot sun with cookie ice-cream!

Paris Deli again today with Eunice and a person (let's call her M)

A special handmade book order from Eunice arrived in her hand and I received many happy feedback. Serve the customer as God! hahha

Yup yup yup! Good laugh.

And then Eunice and I painted and drew stuff.

I was so inspired to draw and paint again, to make lots and lots of artsy things.

Although, the three of us got stuck in some sort of psycho loops of bad music, and had to declare today as "Bad Covers' day".

Artsy update:

-Currently organising all my past works into little heavy duty envelopes with photos taken for a digital one as well.

-Nearly done with "The 2 Person Book" - a collaboration paintings/drawings with Eunice on a handmade book made by me.

-Going well with "Little Bit" Project.

-Also working on another Art Diary.

-Getting the hang of photoshop. (as you can see!)

-Check out my photos on AISSAIGONPHOTOGRAPHY - I'm updating one every week.

-My apologise to "Post-it" Exhibition at Out2Studio - Eunice and I were going under a very busy and stressful time in the past few weeks with Exams and other school works.

I'm oddly motivated to day. So I decided to read AS PSYCHOLOGY A - yup sometimes I do the strangest thing. I actually played piano for 4 hours! Also had a nice japanese dinner with mum and few of her co-workers. And I feel like I should write something of appreciation:

My mother is a brave and strong woman.

I mean it! because anyone who have met her, could never forget her.

She is a brave and wonderful mum.

She is my mum.

I appreciate so much that she was very strict with me.

She let me and my sister to go alone to Hanoi for a dance performance when I was 6.

We took care of ourselves, we behave, we learnt to be independent.

Never would she let us see that she was so sad to be far away from us.

"You are my daughter. Do you see me crying?"

I always get myself hurt.

She tells me that it is my fault and I cannot cry.

I coughed at her face.

She locked me outside of the house.

I misbehaved.

I got smack

I got lost in Thailand.

When she found me, she was angry at me.

I wanted a toy.

She tells me I have to earn it.

She is brave for all the thing she did and still doing for me.

She is caring always and loving always.

She is my world.

She wanted us to become independent individuals.

We learnt to take care of ourselves.

We learnt to behave with good manners.

We learnt to really learn the price of money.

I learnt to be who I am today.

She made me from scratch!

Mum!

Thank you for not spoiling me. Thank you for scolding me.

Thank you for being brave with me. Thank you for taking care of me.

So changing of the season. Everyone is getting sick, including me!

But I'm all better now.

Next week, my classmates are going on camp and I'm gonna be here, happily have a week off.

I feel exhausted even though I haven't been working that hard.

I need something motivating, something new and something exciting.

I did my entrance exam for next year yesterday.

Hoping for good news next week.

I'm going to be very supporting for Eunice - because it's exam week for her - BIG HUGE EXAM!

And she is moving toward a whole new step in her life - her future - she needs a support system :)

That and a lot of Exam-prep/Homework-I-haven't-finish/Essay.

I'm going to stop talking now and go do something else more... or less lifeless.

A beautiful monday in Saigon

It's a beautiful monday in Saigon.

Sprinkle of rain, soft breezes, quiet Saigon.

Eunice and I once again, planned to meet at Paris Deli.

At the last minute, Eunice called, asking whether it is okay to have Megan drinking tea/coffee with us. Of course I wouldn't mind!

I was running late, and when I did arrive, Megan, as the sweet and wonderful person she is, gave me a hug. And Eunice, as the funny and odd person she is, rubbed my head (yeah RUB MY HEAD...!)

We had a long-practically-non-stop-conversation and lots-lots-of-laughter, accompanied by some stopping for bathroom time...

I longed for this kind of conversation to happen (well, of course Eunice always do this to me... but in any case, this is different) It went on for 5 hours. The thing is, it's not the kind of boring listening exam. It was a perfect one where you sit back on the comfy chair and sip a hot tea, being just yourself and completely relax!

I've been terribly sick these past couples of day, but today, today has been wonderful.

My Baby MacBook got terribly sick the other day. I took it to the doctor to find out that its hard-drive broke, can't be fix. Most of my edited photos and art works are gone (plus many other works... music and videos too) Therefore, I'm going to have to take care of my sick Mac and bring it back to life again.

Righty!

Went out with Eunice again today :D

I walked all the way from Le Loi to Le Thanh Ton to meet the two happy Aka and Eunice.

We are planning on cooking together (japanese food -> thumbs up!)

Bought stuff on Le Thanh Ton - the Japan Town of Saigon.

But that is after our trip to Binh Chau, of course.

That would be on Monday -> thumbs up again!

So you're wondering...

Who is going?

I'm going (stating the obvious --> if not why would I even mention it? xD)

Eunice, Aka, Khanh Linh and Cindy, too.

Which makes the trip cool to the cold (I don't understand my english either. Don't worry, you're not the only one!)

Back to my current time - that would be today.

Eunice and I again, see ourselves walking back to the Jap restaurant we went on Tuesday.

That's right! I haven't told you yet about Tuesday.

Tuesday, after 12.30 receiving our reports and chasing to get decent smoothies.

12.45 we're in the music room trying to record music for "Stay The Night".

Which by the way, premiere at Galaxy Nguyen Du with others short film on the 12 April.

It's a monday.

I haven't finish burning the DVD and the music.

Anyway, it didn't work very well.

After heaven food with hot guy, we walked straight to Diamond Plaza and bought My Linh her dream mirror.

Talk about authentic, I never thought of going the Paris Deli but IT'S A PERFECT place.

Just like heaven.

Forgot to mention, my cousin's gf were with us.

Anyway, my Easter Holiday started with wonderful friendship-hanging-out-getting-fat-over-japanese-food-crush-on-a-hot-guy-having-girls-talk-shopping-with-our-eyes... and so on.

Probably end with me having-a-good-good-time-in-Binh-Chau-currently-not-finish-with-StayTheNight-which-is-premiere-in-one-week-photos-exhibition-as-well and last but not least good-news-for-my-Art-life!

So far APRIL has been generous and so much of a treat for me.

I just have to declare - April is my month and well I will treat myself nicely.

It's been so long since I posted anything new, but hey I'm back! A little busy in the past couple of weeks. "Stay The Night" the film is going great and we will launch at short SStuFF - the Saigon Students Festival on the 12 of April - 6pm. Anyway, so that was what taking so much time from me. Other stuff include: assignments, homework and a MAJOR math test tomorrow! Although I've been lazy and doing some "creative" little things.

Jewelry Making

Hello hello!

So lately I've been taking Jewelry lesson and here is a proof for it. I finally understand how they make jewelry through years of looking and trying to figure out. I will master my skill, start selling and make some money from this stuff. Honestly I'm obsess with it now. This is my third piece: a necklace with turquoise (I'm still learning names of the beads and stones). My first piece is broken... and my second is a cute pair of earrings but only have one hook. To conclude, this is my very first perfect piece.

I'm hoping to sell it for $20... I know you don't think so haha Oh well keep waiting because I'm gonna make better and better piece. I just love creating creative things with my hand. It makes life less boring isn't it? :)

Okay! Done with the whole advertising stuff up there. Hello, I'm back!

The last three days, I was the "favourite sissy" to these lovely, adorably fun kids :D Of course I'm always the favourite sis of my little cousin up there. Very proud of myself! The two girls at the top are my cousin and a family friend's. They stayed overnight at my house. My room was the "kingdom of fun" *very fun kingdom's name* I brought markers and colour pencils out and oh my god they LOVE drawing *seriously* It makes me so happy they tell me they want to become a fashion designer. I know I know they will change their mind somehow later on, but it's great to kinda be the one who support them in this kind of thing. I tell them to just alway draw and paint and be creative.

The two inspiring and fun day ended fast with lots of artwork for the two to bring home.

(they didn't want to go :D haha)

This very cute girl is a close family's friend as well, she came here today. She is a great painter! She painted houses and flowers and me as well. Very cute little me :D My little bro is well a great little dude.

Tet in Saigon

It's the time of the year again. Tet, the new year welcoming the Golden Tiger.

We did our shopping yesterday, and wow how noisy and crowded it was. I'm staying here this holiday. We have food stack to the top of our fridge.

I was working all day preparing for the coming of new year's eve. There are so many things to do! It's like Christmas in the West except much bigger here. The preparation is longer than how Tet last. We have to clean the house, decorate it, cook lots and lots of food. And as a buddhist, we offer buddha, the land god and my ancestors a meal consist with all sort of food. (After that, you eat it, because it brings you blessing) There are prayers to be made, fruit dishes to put up and paper to burn (it is my job this year to burn the clothing, gold, money made by paper for the gods)

The fruit dish must have 5 types of fruit. Watermelon is a must, Pamelo and others you can choose. There are traditional dishes like Banh Chung and Banh Day, pickles, chickens more more and more. Although eat vegetarian on New Year bring you good luck. Flowers and trees are sold everywhere. It's my favourite time of the year because my entire house is filled with nature. It's beautiful!

Another thing about Tet is that you get presents, taboos, I still get lucky red pocket! and everyone seems exceptionally nicer (not any of the sellers... they get lots of money during Tet) and well it brings

Hmm but think again, we had a great dinner tonight, with family and friends. The work to be done isn't over yet. School didn't close until yesterday, which was really a pain. I don't think they've quite understand or see the real work behind Tet.

Oh well, I'm off to more things to do! Wish you all a happy, prosperous year of the Tiger. Fill your pocket with money!

Back from Cambodia!

I'm back from the beautiful kingdom of Cambodia, more like 4 days ago.

Post for the tattoo I drew and for the photos I took. It was such a wonderful trip and so much love and enjoyment. Of course like all time, I love spending time with these beautiful kids. It filled my heart with so much love, so much happiness. I have no word to describe how I feel but amazing and awesome.

I haven't catch much sleep back from those 4 days waking up early (4 something...) to charge camera 's battery. I'm not complaining about looking after cameras, I like having things occupied me... haha Well, I have more books, great movies and awesome clothes plus super duper awesome memories. With the film shoot last week, catching up is a bit of a hectic...

Well no, of course not that much compare to "PROPERLY BUSY" people. Besides, I think I should work harder anyway xD.

5 times electricity BOOM OFF AND ON AND OFF AND ON... I was sleepless and have been annoying people 2 days now, by my non-stop-hyper-talking! Seriously, my head is going to explode anytime soon... (Obviously not now because I'm still bla-bla-ing here =.=)

Anyhow, I finally find out how to connect my ipod to TV. I don't get why I can't connect my mac. It wouldn't open...

So anyway, I'm preparing to come back to Cambodia again this weekend to spend lots and lots of time with all the beautiful kids. *big smile*

MORE THAN EVER THIS HAS BEEN ONE AMAZING WORKSHOP FOR ME!!!

I've always love to work with camera, filming and photography. I learnt so much about camera, framing, filming techniques and so so much more, including lots of fun the past week. Jack Rath is pretty much an awesome awesome person to work with. He shows you how to use everything most effectively, suggesting ideas but at the same time let you be as creative as you can. I learnt about filming, lighting, and sound all at once! How awesome! Jack can't work with too much noise and he is serious when working which is just exactly what I want. I can't work with too much noise and I do want to focus on doing the best.

Regina Gyr is so fun and enjoyable. She knows acting very well of course.

Charu... hmm... Firstly, she is indian! So awesome! Charu also taught me and give me tips on how to pan the camera smoothly and how to zoom so that it doesn't goes kaboom. :)

Enough of that and move on to the great actors, and adorable, beautiful and talented little kids. LOVE THEM! Jacob, cute little Christopher and naughty Apsara! Wonderful, wonderful directors Joshy and Eunice and more (a lot of directors) who worked so hard on script with writer - Cindy. And of course, the camera crew - Bobby, Tuan and super duper cool Liam. I have to tell you more about Liam. He is younger than me and he is like me, has a great interest and talent in filming and movie making. I had so much fun working with him!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

I didn't make cards for Christmas this year. Very sad but I don't feel like making one but this is my 10 minutes christmas card! :)

No we are not celebrating Christmas this year. We don't have a christmas tree up. We don't decorate our house with christmas sparkle. We don't have presents even for my little brother. We don't have the whole family together. We don't have Christmas spirit neither did we have a happy talk.

I'm sorry for all this thing that unfortunately will upset you on this very Christmas day. But don't worry. I've lighten a candle and sit at the top of our house in the silence of the night. Everyone has gone to the centre of the city, to churches and family's house to celebrate Christmas. My house out was quiet and peaceful.

Christmas is about giving and I'm giving my heart to those who needed. I've made 10 minutes card on the last day of school to say "Merry Christmas" I've spend time painting boxes to these great kids in Cambodia. I wish I could do more. I don't wish for a christmas present I wish for a miracle (... sorry can't tell you) I'm happy for all that I've been given. All the love, the care and the heart of all the people who have given me so much strength in mylife and it's time to thank you all for being there, for helping me, for cheering me up and for not giving up on me.

Nuff said with all that talk...

A drop of paint of my legs turned into this. I love the feeling of paint on my skin. It's so different and fun to be painted on. You completely changed into a super duper colourful person and awesomely excited. It's great fun!

It's the fourth day of holiday. I'm enjoying it!

I have time and energy to go swimming (yeshhh!) I read a book.

I clean my room.

Hello there!

First day of holiday, I woke up late like I want, had a shower, read a book, ate a bread roll and clean up. Confession: I'm surprised by just how many stuff I threw away; 3 bags! I'm a lazy person who chuck everything into my room and don't tidy up. But when I'm not in my room then I am very tidy. I guess cause when I know nobody is watching, I live in a rat place. haha

Anyway, my room is tidy now. Everything has a place and I created myself a little Art & Craft corner. I was going to wait until tomorrow morning to take a photo of it because the little table under my big one when pulls out will face to the open window. I found the cute table cloth downstair in a pile of old one that we don't use anymore. The patterns are so cute and very artsy so I thought I would use it to cover scratches and cut under. It has an official name now, not like before when I just use it - Art & Craft corner.

If you find yourself bored this holiday - clean up your room and make yourself a little room for Art!

I just thought I share some thoughts of my own here.

It's December and Christmas is coming. But, I have no Christmas' spirit this year. I put on my little calendar book with "Christmas Card List" last wednesday. I haven't started yet and have no plan on starting this year.

My plan failed... I went Christmas shopping for Christmas presents to some kids in Cambodia. I had three boxes and I am going to put presents in for them. I've met the kids, played and had a wonderful wonderful time with them. It was the winter dance last night. Everyone seems to have fun, and my friends were asking me why didn't I go. I said - It's a waste of money! I saved that $20 to buy these presents for the little ones. I just think there has been to much for me and not much for them. I had $20. I can do something with it that would make the cuties happy and warm my heart up a little.So I went out this afternoon with Joshy and Eunice and we got baby stuff, soaps and toothbrushes. The box above is to a 4 years old girl - Ly Heang who is a little cambodian friend of mine.

I'm nervous sending these boxes to the kids. All I have for them is a little love that they need, a little thing that I can give and a box that I've painted. Gosh I miss them!

It took my quite some time to pain this box cover. It actually has two layers or more. I painted the box planning to spread the colour and mixed them with next one so it looks streamy. And I failed completely. Came home today, I tried to fix it by re painting the yellow part to red and then cover the blue and purple with white this time. The dress original was white but somehow it got mixed up with the purple and started looking very crappy so I repainted it with blue. The leaves idea flew out of no where when I stuck the butterfly on it. The hair was yellow stream to red but now it is black again because I like it!

Woa, such a long time with no post!

Today featuring BUGS BUGS BUGS photography course with Andrew.

I don't particular like bugs by the way, but they're part of nature :) Photos today taken using macro on a normal camera if you're wondering. It's quite good for a first timer using macro.

My reason for not writing the past weeks is because I was getting my examination results back. Some good some bad... and I was busy in Hanoi with family things. There is something else that I missed out on the Saturday I was in Hanoi. Megan is part of the International Choir of Ho Chi Minh city and they performed a Christmas Classic and Carols. I felt very bad not coming because I said to her I would but then realising that I had to catch a flight to Hanoi right away. I missed out on her performance the second time.

Morenos are back

Exam week... errrm... Horrible for me but I am so glad to see the Morenos back!

Incase, you didn't know, Manuel and Julie= were my teachers when AIS SAIGON first commence. And that was 4 years ago. The thing about teachers for me is that I always appreciate and love them a lot after they stop teaching me ... haha Okay! Let's move on. I haven't told you about Rachel and Carlos yet. OOHHH they are bloody CUTE! When Morenos left, Rachel was a little one years old girl, and Carlos is still in his mother's womb. Rachel is, well I supposed she is 4 now. She has grown bigger and taller of course and soooo adorable.

I don't think Rachel remembered me but we had a lot of fun chasing around. (although she banged her head twice =='') She is such a cheeky one. I would absolutely steal her if she says yes haha It's the first time I met Carlos apart from looking at his photos. No word! Sooo cute haha but he only laughed at my funny face today and not running to his mum like yesterday... It's so nice to see my old teachers again, to talk to them, and to know how they're doing.

I MISS YOU RACHEL! :( YUP NEVER STOP CHASING ME HAHA XD)

It's Teacher's day today!

I've been working on 12 cards this pass week. Most of them are done last sunday. Tireless after 12 hours sitting and drawing.

I wasn't very happy during the week. Always, I'm happy in the morning or at least relax and fresh but it's get harder in the afternoon. I guess I'm under a lot stress with different things. It's exam next week. 5 hours of sleep everynight. I don't feel like eating much either.

Today, giving the cards to teachers, it makes me feel better to see their smile and brighten up someone mood.

It's great to work on the Fish project again. I haven't been working on it for such a long time. Sometimes we do need a little time off to get that excitement going with our art. Get that creative juice going!
